You guys already know that I only do ultra simple nail art that would only sometimes even be called nail art by other people. For me, nail art is when I add anything extra. A nail vinyl, some glitter, polka dots, etc. So whether you’re looking to dress up your current mani, or come up with a fool-proof easy look for the holidays, you’re in the right spot.
Let’s get right to it!
#1 Glitter: Dress up your reds and greens with a little glitter! I really love white glitter, so I wanted to show off both. For the green nails I used OPI Jade is the New Black and topped it with Lynderella’s Love, Lace, and Lilac. For the red nails I used OPI’s Red Hot Gift + Maybelline Acid Wash Effect Top Splatter.
#2 Polka Dots: Easy and you can make your own dotting tool! Check out Alli’s DIY Dotting Tool post! I love her Christmas polka dots from 2012. She used China Glaze Emerald Sparkle, Ulta Snow White and JulieG Sunset Kiss.
#4 Dry Brush: I love dry brush manis because they’re super easy and if you mess up, no one really knows but you. See. My dry brush nails look sort of like a sugar cookie decorating disaster – but I still love it. Yaaaaas!
