Barielle Moda Bleu and SinfulColors Pumpkin Spice The Daily VarnishBeing that it is the time of year when pumpkin spice takes over the world I couldn’t help but be reminded of one of my favorite fall glitters; SinfulColors Pumpkin Spice. It’s basically the only pumpkin spice thing I like! It really is the perfect fall glitter.

For this manicure I used Barielle Moda Bleu as my base and added 1 to 2 coats of Pumpkin Spice just to the tips of my nails. The resulting manicure was lovely and perfect for sweater weather!

Next I want to try Pumpkin Spice with a brown base. I think that would be really lovely for fall!

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump.

I didn’t think I would like this pairing, but I do. I never think of out of the box color combos, just not very imaginative that way I guess….like you said at the end, I’d have defaulted to outing it over a brownish tone…

Honestly, I was initial going to do this manicure with a brown polish but then I couldn’t decide on which one so I ended up doing navy (if that makes any sense!). I do think Pumpkin Spice would look absolutely lovely with a brown base!

  2. Tanguera says:

I would have never thought of putting bronzy glitter over navy polish, but it looks very elegant, especially on just the top half of the nail. Nice one!!

What do you think?
