Zoya – Felicity

Zoya FelicityTime for a little nail polish rewind! For a really long time I resisted ordering polishes online. I wanted to see them in the stores. Even now, there are only a few brands I’ll order online. Zoya was one of the first brands I broke my “rules” for -and of course it was thanks to one of their amazing promotions. My very first Zoya order included Felicity, Crystal, and Indigo. They’re all in need of reswatching and I was in a super girly mood yesterday so I chose Felicity.

Felicity is a beautiful dusty tea rose pink filled with shimmer – the gold shimmer is the most notable, which is why I love it, but there’s some “champagne” shimmer too. The official Zoya description is a bit ambitious but I’ll let you make your own judgment: soft dusty tea-rose pink with champagne and bright pink duochrome shimmer and flecks of gold. Hmm.

Application was really lovely. I used three coats, just like I did four years ago, and I’m just as happy with the results. Since Zoya doesn’t get along with Seche Vite, I used my HK Girl top coat.

I just popped over to the Zoya Website. Two things. First, it seems Felicity has been retired. I AM SO SORRY. Second, they are having a Name a Polish contest with Redbook – which is fun. I think I’ll enter. No out of this world promos at the moment, but they do have adorable mini collections that include the color lock system for $42 + free shipping for both of their Fall collections: Focus & Flair.

Individual Zoya polishes retail for $9.00. You can grab Zoya at Ulta or on Amazon – whichever suits you best. Even though this polish is retired, you can get it here on Amazon for 7.70 with free shipping. Deal!

  1. Wow. I hadn’t heard of the Mentallity drama. I have lots of indie polish but none of theirs. A blog I read reviews a lot of their polish had no mention — until I scrolled to the very, very bottom of her front page. It was mixed in with ads… from indies. It only said “please read re: Mentallity polish” and is a link to her Instagram. Like your blog, I check hers daily. I don’t bother with Facebook or Instagram. Except for y’all’s when you post mani pics or what have you. If you hadn’t mentioned it I would have never known. Thanks for that.
