I love the name on this one and while I’m not usually a fan of punctuation in nail polish names, I really wanted a “?” on the end.
Truth or Lavendare is the third polish I’ve tried from the Chalkboard Diaries collection from SinfulColors and I like it just as much as Chalk it Up and A-Crush. It’s a pretty light purple (ahem, lavender) that dries to a demi-matte or satin finish. I cannot get enough of this collection.
I ended up using three thin coats. Thin coats are a must for matte & semi matte polishes because they dry so quickly. If you go too thick, you can end up with some lumpy streaks.
This time I didn’t use any base coat and you can see the imperfections much more clearly than in my previous two reviews, where I used a matte top coat to smooth things out first.
SinfulColors nail polish retails for $1.99 at drugstores and grocery stores nation-wide. My store of choice is Walgreen’s since they run those oh-so-lovely .99 specials.
