deborah lippmann She Wolf

deborah lippmann She Wolf The Daily VarnishBack to reality! I had a wonderful 704th (as us Charlotteans say…) but I am ready go get back to normal life.

After wearing some sort of patriotic nails almost every day for the last couple of weeks I was really craving a neutral manicure.

She Wolf is from deborah lippmann’s fall 2015 ROAR collection and is a neutral taupe creme. I realize this sounds kind of boring but it is a nice change from a nude nail yet is still neutral and appropriate for more conservative environments (or when your nails just need a break from all the crazyness!).

The formula is really lovely; I used two coats in my swatches.

I think everyone needs a polish this color in their collection but deborah lippmann certainly isn’t the only brand that makes a taupe polish. She Wolf is a lovely option if you want to splurge a bit on a staple polish, though.

The Roar collection will be available at Nordstrom and Sephora in August. Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump!

I’ve reviewed 2 other polishes from this collection; Miss Independent and Can’t Be Tamed.

  1. Neutrals are my thing, so my nails never need a neutral break from all the craziness, it’s more like they need a crazy break from all the neutral-ness, LOL. I usually drool over Lippmann’s colors, but this one just looks strange and mushroomy to me. Love the name, though.

  2. Neutrals are not exactly my cup of tea, but I’ve been feeling like you too – so much crazy on my nails lately, I want tame and neutral now : )
Still deciding on the exact colour : )

What do you think?
