Nail Art: Gray Polka Dot Manicure

Gray Polka Dot Nail ArtIt’s no secret I’m totally swooning over Orly Key Lime Twist. Because of that Key Lime Twist has spent a lot of time on my nails. But, I got a new set of dotting tools and I was itching to give them a go. And that’s how this manicure happened.

Because Key Lime Twist is so bright I wanted to use something subtle for the polka dots. I went with CoverGirl Silver Lining and made the polka dots different sizes with no rhyme or reason to their placing. It turned out really lovely and was so easy to do!

So far I’m loving my new dotting tools but I can’t say they are any better than my DIY dotting tools. But either way, there are definitely going to be lots manicures with polka dots in my future!

  1. I have loved that Orly polish since the first preview I saw it on. I wore it with black, gray and white in geometric shapes. I like what you did with your mani – the gray dots really compliment it. I need to get it out again, which I am sure will be happening several times this summer!

    1. Ohhh, adding some neutral geometric shapes to this color would make for a nice manicure!

I just can’t get enough of Key Lime Twist.
