I always say that one of my favorite things about deborah lippmann as a brand is that the polishes in each collection aren’t just fantastic on their own but also compliment the rest of the polishes in the collection. The Painted Desert collection is no exception!
The Painted Desert collection was inspired by the Sahara desert so I did a bit of a desert landscape-ish manicure.
Because Terra Nova disagrees with my skintone I used that as my base. Then I added the other colors from the collection, Love in the Dunes, Shifting Sands and Desert Moon, in imperfect lines. I mostly just used the brush in the bottle though I did use a nail art brush here and there to make a thinner line.
The polishes in this collection are full coverage so this was an easy nail art look to do. I like the end result; it’s a very neutral and subtle way to wear nail art.
Anyhow. There are swatches of my nail art creation under the jump.
The Painted Desert collection is currently available at Sephora.
