deborah lippmann Terra Nova

deborah lippmann Terra Nova The Daily VarnishToday I’m going to share the last polish in the deborah lippmann Painted Desert collection. The collection features 4 full coverage, neutral polishes (although there is a Sephora exclusive polish for this collection that I don’t have so if we count that one this collection has 5 polishes).

All the polishes in this collection are inspired by the desert and Terra Nova definitely reflects that.

Terra Nova is a full coverage, warm camel creme. The color in theory is lovely. And the formula is absolute perfection; this could almost be a one coater. Unfortunately, like most of the polishes in this collection, this color is all wrong for my skintone. It kind of looks like I have bandaids on my fingernails. Not a good look.

But, if you have the skintone to pull this polish off I highly recommend it. Seriously, you cannot beat the formula.

The Painted Desert collection is currently available at Sephora.

Under the jump you will find swatches of Terra Nova and links to my reviews on the other 3 polishes in this collection!

  1. LOL, this is by far the worst color I’ve ever seen on you, Alli, in terms of your skin tone. It would suit my pale warm skin tone really well, but this is one of those shades that I like in general, but not as a nail polish color. I generally don’t want my nails to look like I dipped them in some sort of condiment, but I do give DL credit for coming up with unique shades.

What do you think?
