SinfulColors Flower Power

SinfulColors Flower Power The Daily VarnishI declared over on TDV Instagram the other day that I quit winter. Wearing a polish called Flower Power seems like an appropriate way to celebrate being a quitter.

Flower Power is a new specialty Bloomblast glitter from the SinfulColors Spring Fever collection for Spring 2015. The base is a purple-pink sheerish creme that is sprinkled with matte white and shiny magenta glitter. Such a fun polish! And so unique. Especially considering the $1.99 price tag.

The formula is, by design, a bit sheer. I used three coats in my swatches and each coat gives the polish a bit more depth. I was really happy with the finished look.

I’m not sure if Flower Power is limited edition but I’d definitely pick it up if you run across it in your local Rite Aid or Walgreens. It’s definitely a different look for spring and fun for a change.

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump!

  1. Interesting! I am wearing the purple/blue glitter version, “Petal Be The Day” …. Which means I keep hearing Buddy Holly “That’ll Be the Day” in my head every time I think of or see the polish. The milky base ended up sheer, but that’s ok (maybe you already had that one In here, can’t remember all where I saw it). Still love it though. 🙂 I am wearing it over the Essie matte that was a neutral with blue shimmer.

  2. I love this polish. I ended up going back for a back up bottle after wearing it for a few days. This is an exact duplicate for OPI’s The Power of Pink, which was the glitter polish only available in the duo set released for breast cancer awareness 2014.

  3. I have bought the whole collection off eBay. I should feel guilty, but seeing how lovely this polish is, makes me feel glad I pulled the trigger

What do you think?
