Perfect Pair deborah lippmann Misty Morning & wet n wild MEGA ROCKS Gettin' AmpedThis manicure is awesome and I love it but I hate that I have to call it a jelly sandwich. But it is, in fact, a jelly sandwich. As much as I hate the term.

But anyway! As I mentioned in my deborah lippmann Misty Morning post Misty Morning is a great polish to create jelly sandwiches (cringe) with. I wanted to keep this manicure fairly neutral so I grabbed for one of my favorite glitters; wet n wild MEGA ROCKS Gettin’ Amped.

I used one coat of Gettin’ Amped over Misty Morning. I liked the combination of polishes even before I topped it with another coat of Misty Morning. But topping it with Misty Morning made the glitter really subtle.

The end result was really gorgeous. I’m excited to try other glitter combinations not only with Misty Morning but other polishes from the deborah lippman Whisper collection.

I’ve never attempted a J—- S——–! 🙂 I think I know how, I get anxiety over the right polish and the right glitters. One day I’ll do the thing which won’t be named.

We need to come up with a new name for this technique!

I didn’t try out this kind of a look for a long time for the same reason. Then finally I ordered Essie Marshmallow and it’s been all down hill from there!

This is great, although I liked it better before you made a sandwich out of it. I’m really into glitter at the moment, and just cannot get enough of it. Of course, I’m a newbie, so I’m into just about anything new I discover LOL!
