We’re really into the red nail polishes on The Daily Varnish this week! Yesterday Katie posted OPI Red Fingers & Mistletoes and today I have Kensington High Street to share with y’all. Kensington High Street is actually very similar to Red Fingers & Mistletoes just without the shimmer.
Kensington High Street is a crimson red jelly creme hybrid, or crelly (but I hate that word so…). It’s a beautiful color and the finish is super shiny.
The formula is good though, as to be expected with a crelly formula, does require three coats.
This isn’t a shade of red I’d normally reach for. If it wasn’t part of the nails inc. Cracker Collection I picked up from HauteLook I would not have ended up with Kensington High Street but I ended up really liking this polish. And it wears incredible well.
It seems nails inc. doesn’t make Kensington High Street in this formula anymore (though you can still pick up the Cracker Collection from Nordstrom) but they do have it in the gel effects line which you can find at Sephora or on Amazon.
As always, there are swatches under the jump!
