SinfulColors Ice Dream

SinfulColors Ice Dream coverThe only dreams I’ve ever had about ice were most certainly nightmares. I don’t like snow or the cold or winter in general but I do love this polish!

Ice Dream is a combination of small silver glitter and larger ice blue glitter suspended in a clear base. By that description I would think Ice Dream would be similar to NYC Starry Silver (a beloved glitter in my collection) but while the two have a similar glitter make up they provide entirely different looks.

The formula is fantastic. The glitter is dense but not so dense it can’t be used as a top coat. I’ve used this in two manicures; one where I used three coats of Ice Dream and one where I used one coat of Ice Dream over butter LONDON Royal Navy. While I liked both manicures (Ice Dream looks great on its own) I have to say I really adore the manicure where I used the glitter over a deep blue. It gave the manicure an icy look which I think is the point, lol.

I definitely see Ice Dream being part of a snow day manicure in the future!

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump and let me know which manicure is your favorite!

This brand really comes up with some unique options. Do you happen to know if they are 3 free or not?

Don’t they though? SinfulColors always surprises me!

And I double checked, SinfulColors is a 3 free brand 🙂

I like glitter polishes that can be used as a top coat or by themselves. Gives you more room to be creative!

I am a faithful (but quiet) follower of TDV. But I want to tell you how much I appreciate that you review SC and other drugstore brands. So many bloggers seem to only review expensive brands (looking at you, rhymes with Geborah Tippmann). In these tough times, SC on sale is about all I can indulge in. I appreciate all you and Katie do. Thanks so much.

Aw, thank you so much! That’s such a sweet comment.

When we started this blog the point really was to share what we actually wear. SinfulColors (and a ton of other drugstore brands) make up a huge chunk of our nail polish stashes.

      Thanks for reading 🙂
