deborah lippmann’s Fantastical collection keeps coming with the hits!
Today I have Dream Weaver to share. deborah lippmann describes it as a mesmerizing mood explosion which is totally appropriate because this polish reminds me of a mood ring from the 90s (especially in the bottle). And that’s a good thing!
Dream Weaver is, to say the least, a complicated polish. It shifts from a shimmery emerald green to a deep jewel toned purple. It’s beautiful on the nail and really comes alive in the sun.
The formula is a bit thin. I did need three coats to get an opaque color.
While I love this polish it isn’t the most unique polish in the Fantastical collection. This polish is just slightly different from a slew of other polishes including OPI Peace, Love & OPI, Essie For The Twill Of It, essence Where is the Party?, OPI Not Like the Movies, NARS Disco Inferno and wet n wild Gray’s Anatomy. Considering the $18 price tag, if you have any of these polishes, make sure to compare first.
All deborah lippmann polishes are named after a song. So, if you were curious, Dream Weaver is named after the song Dream Weaver by Gary Wright. The song peaked at #2 on the charts in 1976.
You will find a slew of swatches under the jump including some pictures in the sun!
