deborah lippmann – Weird Science

deborah lippmann - weird science Fantastical. Deborah Lippmann’s Winter 2014 collection is daring, dreamy, and perfectly Deborah Lippmann. It’s so beautifully unique. A chartreuse for winter? Sure, why not! I fell in love with the idea behind this collection after watching this video. Bewitching. Mystical. Mesmerizing. I couldn’t have said it better.

It has been so long since I’ve been drawn to a green polish but I just had to try Weird Science first. Weird Science is a sparkly metallic chartreuse that’s so off the beaten path for winter, it’s sure to turn heads – in a good way! Actually, the best description I can offer is radioactive pickle juice. I think deborah lippmann’s description is a bit more eloquent: charming chartreuse chemistry. The formula was excellent, as usual. I used two smooth coats for perfect opaque coverage.

You can pick up Weird Science at SephoraNeiman Marcus, and Nordstrom for $18. Don’t pass on this one! In the meantime, take a peak at Alli’s reviews of Xanadu and Magic Carpet Ride.

Until the polish runs out,

  1. I don’t like chartreuse, I would never wear it, but I have to admit, there is *something* very special about this polish! Hats off to the boys and girls at DL’s! 🙂

  2. Till right this second, I have never seen a chartreuse that I would wear on my nails… the color usually just just reminds me of phlegm or baby puke… but leave it to Deb!… I think I’d give this one a whirl! This shade elevates phlegm to glam status!

    1. Yes! It’s so bright & fun. I’m really loving it. If you get it – please let me know what you think! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed 🙂
