I adore Halloween. But sometimes I get tired of all the orange and black. Since I’m having a serious love affair with Essie Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low I wanted to do an understated Halloween manicure using Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low as the base color.
Nothing says Halloween like a jack-0′-latern. But I kept it simple in this manicure doing a small, partial jack-o’-latern just on the pointer finger.
To do this I started with Sally Hansen Pumpkin Queen to create the pumpkin shape. I let that dry slightly then added the stem with Julep Chloe and the triangle eyes with OPI Sapphire in the Snow. Both Chloe and Sapphire in the Snow contain shimmer; I thought the shimmer would look nice with the metallic backdrop.
I must admit I love the way this manicure turned out. It’s a Halloween manicure, yes, but it’s simple and still maintains a bit of chicness to it.
As always, there are swatches under the jump!
