OPI DS Titanium

OPI DS Titanium COVERGenerally I’m not the biggest fan of OPI’s Designer Series polishes. The$12.50 price tag isn’t justified in most cases. But I was looking at the two new additions to the DS line; Tourmaline and Titanium and when I saw Titanium, I had to have it; expensive or not!

Titanium, as described by OPI, is a shimmery dark silver. But let me tell you, it is SO much more than that. Titanium contains dark silver/smokey gray glitter and large holographic glitter suspended in a sheer, gray base.

Despite the base being on the sheer side there’s enough glitter in this formula to only require 2 coats. While Titanium could be used as a top coat I think it would be a waste; the depth the formula provides because of the sheer base makes this polish.

Due to all the glitter this does dry to a gritty texture. My favorite top coat to smooth out glitter polishes is the Barielle Gel Top Coat.

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump. This polish is absolutely gorgeous; especially in the sun.

You can puck up Titanium from Ulta and Amazon.

This polish is so great! I may “need” this one. I absolutely agree that this is a stand alone beauty.

There aren’t that many polishes that are entirely unique but I think this one has done it!

I’m kinda digging this polish, it reminds of the gemstone labradorite. Gorgeous swatches, Alli!

It looks like a grey version of Sinful Colors Nail Junkie, which I LOVE!

What do you think?
