Perfect Pair PISTOL polish Lock & Load and Orly MirrorballI’m kind of obsessed with Orly Mirrorball. It has single handily brought my back to my glitter loving ways.

I wanted to try using Mirrorball in some nail art and thought PISTOL polish Lock & Load would look  great with Mirrorball.

For this manicure I created a triangle on the tip of my nails with Mirrorball. I thought about using tape but I was feeling impatient and to use tape you have to give the base polish a long time to dry. Instead I used a nail art brush and free handed the triangle tips.

The nail art brush didn’t give me as precise of a line as using tape would have but I liked the result none the less. With a glitter like Mirrorball it’s easy to go overboard but this manicure was on the subtle side. You know, as subtle as holographic glitter can get.

Anyway! There are swatches under the jump. I’d love to hear your thoughts on my subtle holographic glitter nail art (I tried to type that with a straight face…).

Happy Saturday!
