LA Colors Craze 646

LA Colors Craze COVEROh hey, L.A. Colors! It’s been awhile.

I was on what seemed to be a never ending shopping adventure with my mom a couple of weekends ago when we somehow ended up in a Dollar Tree. It had been a good while since I’d been in a Dollar Tree so, of course, I strolled down the cosmetics aisle. I was surprised to find what looked to be a permanent LA Colors polish display. Obviously I had to get at least one polish!

Craze caught my eye as it seemed to be quite a unique combination of glitter. This polish has matte hot pink, lime green and orange glitter along with shiny blue glitter suspended in a clear base. I have nothing like this in my collection nor have I ever seen anything like this before but I love it!

This glitter goes on fairly sparse but the formula isn’t difficult to work with. In my swatches I used 2 coats of Craze over Essie Marshmallow.

I really love this combination of glitter. It’s unique and I think it’s going to be really fun for spring and summer.

A quick note on the name of this polish. It is called Craze and it is part of the LA Colors Color Craze line of polishes. Confusing, but the number is 646.

LA Colors polishes are available on and in Dollar Tree stores.

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump!

  1. Going by how horrifying it looks to me in the bottle, LOL, I wouldn’t have given this polish a chance in a million years. But on the nail, over the soft white, I like it. The sparse distribution of the glitter, and the fact that most of it is matte, keeps it from looking too garish. It just looks fun, and as Dr. Seuss once so famously said “Fun is good!”

What do you think?
