Auburn Football Manicure

Nail Art: Auburn Football Manicure

Auburn Football ManicureTODAY IS THE DAY! Auburn plays their first football game of the season today against Arkansas and I am so freaking excited, y’all. The Charlotte Auburn Club has watch parties at Heist Brewery and you better believe I’ll be there decked out in Auburn themed everything.

To celebrate the beginning of the SEC football season all the SEC alumni chapters in Charlotte come together for an SEC Alumni Bash. It’s a tailgate style event that gives everyone a chance to mingle and is one of my favorite events of the year. Of course, I had to have the perfect manicure for the event. I’ve done SO MANY Auburn manicure over the years but this might be my favorite.

This turned out to be a sort of mix and match manicure. I did 4 different nail designs:

  1. Temporary Auburn nail tattoo over Ulta Snow White. For info on using temporary tattoo as nail art check out this post.
  2. I started with just deborah lippmann Rolling in the Deep but it was just too dark. It looks almost black in some lighting. In an attempt to brighten up the blue I added a coat of deborah lippmann Va Va Voom.
  3. Football nail. I used my leather effect technique.
  4. Plain orange nail (SinfulColors Citrine)

I like that this manicure had a little bit of everything.

Below the jump you will find additional swatches plus more Auburn themed manicures can be found in the related posts.

Happy Football Saturday!

Love the mani, considering I’m not big on football. I suppose I should be saying I hate it, since I’m about 30 miles away from UofArk. But, I dislike the razorbacks (except for the baseball team–because I’m so far away from the Braves haha) so I’m okay. 🙂
