Color Club - Fondue for TwoI’m a francophile at heart, so anything French catches my eye. Color Club’s Paris in Love Collection was released for Summer 2014. I’m glad we waited for our order because if I was ordering for Summer I probably would have passed. To me, the colors are much more fitting for Spring (see Holy Chic!) and Fall. I’ve been kind of fascinated with brown polish since I tried Pixi’s Classy Cocoa – so I knew right away that I wanted to try out Fondue for Two.

Fondue for Two is a chic milk chocolate brown creme. It reminds me of my morning coffee. Delicious. If you follow the Pantone color trend reports, you’ll also know that this is supremely on trend for Fall 2014. For such a simple polish, it’s really quite stunning. The formula was a little runny, but I only needed two coats for opaque perfection. This is definitely going to get some wear time this Fall.

How do you feel about brown polish? Yay or nay? More pictures below!

I don’t know. Seeing that I spend a small fortune dying over this color in my hair, I’m not sure I would like it on my nails. Maybe it’s one of those polishes you have to see ‘in person’ so to speak. To be fair, I love leather this color, so I guess I’m on the fence.

I think it is one you have to see in person – for SO many years I really had no patience for browns. I figured if I was going to go through the trouble to paint my nails I wanted something pretty or sparkly or eye catching. Classy Cocao by Pixi was a total game changer for me though.

I will go with Yay! But fall is sure coming a little to fast this year! Not that I don’t have a nice stash of colors waiting! πŸ™‚
