Color Club Holy Chic!

Color Club Holy Chic! coverOh hey, Color Club! It’s been awhile. And by awhile I mean since I wore Gift of Sparkle back in February…of 2013.

Color Club for the most part just isn’t on my radar. It’s not readily available in my area and none of the collections excited me all that much. Until now!

For fall 2014 Color Club released a collection they are calling Paris in Love. It’s no secret I love Paris. It’s one of my favorite places to visit and I’m a sucker for anything French or Parisian themed. So, of course, I had to get a few polishes from the collection.

Holy Chic! immediately caught my attention because of the name. It’s just….funny. But, it deserves attention for the polish, as well. Holy Chic! is a lovely blue leaning periwinkle with super subtle shimmer. This is one of those polishes that the shimmer more or less goes unnoticed. I do think it makes the polish a bit less heavy than a standard creme.

The formula is easy to work with but a definite three coater. This is a great transition color from summer to fall. Definitely a polish I can see wearing quite a bit over the next few months.

Because Color Club isn’t available in a store near me (that I’m aware of…) I did order Holy Chic! online. It is available from Amazon for $5.99.

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump. I blew up one of the photos taken in the sun so you can really see the shimmer!
