I really like that OPI does a lot of collaborative collections with brands and artists. I like that they are fun and usually smaller than the OPI seasonal collections. My most recent favorite would definitely be Coke/Icons of Happiness Collection. This summer, OPI released a collection in honor of the 50th anniversary of the mustang. This didn’t get me too excited. I don’t really like Fords, or Mustangs, or American cars for that matter – but I can appreciate that a lot of people do. There was really only one polish that interested me: The Sky’s My Limit.
The Sky’s My Limit is a really pretty metallic blue shimmer. I wore it to the pool yesterday and it kept catching my eye – always a good sign! I used three coats, but two would be enough. This isn’t a shade of blue I’d typically reach for, but I’m glad I ordered it. I don’t think I have anything similar since I passed on its teal cousin: Catch Me In Your Net from the 2010 Summer Flutter collection.
I really like the OPI description: For summer going into fall, aqua The Sky’s My Limit reminds us to carry a sense of adventure within us always.
You can grab this polish – and the rest of the collection – at Ulta for 9.50.
P.S. Like my new cell phone case!?
