What better way to round out the 80’s Rewind Collection with a perfect pink polish. We’ve had a lot of fun with this collection (and gotten a lot of fabulous 80’s songs stuck in our heads). Oh! Just in case you’re in the mood for a little 80’s Rewind, check out this playlist I made to match the collection!

Whip It is a fun & flirty bright cool toned pink creme. Deborah Lippman describes it as a perky pink punch – that sounds so much more exciting than cool toned pink creme – let’s stick with perky pink punch, shall we?

Application was really great and that’s what I’ve come to expect from  deborah lippmann polishes. I used two coats for my finished look. One of my favorite things about deborah lippmann polishes is the bottle cap. It fits perfectly into my hand making it really easy to work with. When you have as much polish as I do, it’s the little things that make a huge difference.

In case you missed it: Make sure to check out our reviews of the entire 80’s Rewind Collection: Don’t Stop Believin’, She Drives me Crazy, Maniac, Video Killed the Radio Star, and Walking on Sunshine.

The 80′s Rewind collection is currently available at Sephora.

While my favorite polish of the collection is Don’t Stop Believin’, I think my favorite song would be She Drives me Crazy. What are your favorites? Let me know in a comment below!

Be gorgeous!

Too Pepto Bismol-y for me. Not to be a downer, but I’m not feelin’ this collection at all, it’s too bright for me and the colors are so darn linear that they all appear cartoonish in my opinion. I usually love Lippmann.though. In summer I like to do a Lippman mani-pedi with Whatever Lola wants and Private Dancer.

Whatever Lola Wants is really pretty – it’s on my wishlist 🙂

You’ll love it! It’s a gorgeous top coat but also great alone at 3 coats. When I want it to look more opaque I just put it over a sheer white like OPI Don’t Touch My Tutu or (even better) Llarowe Coconut.

I love this collection, and Whip It was my favorite polish. It is not a color I would associate with the song at all, but other than that, no complaints. I am super picky about pinks and bright polish but I love this one. Easy application and super pigmented. This is taking the top spot for my go to pedi color this summer. I also picked up She Drives Me Crazy but I didn’t fall in love immediately. It has a muted quality and I was expecting a bolder bright. I would liken that one to On The Beach- Deborah Lippmann muted bright category. Pretty, just not what I expected.

I love pink on my toes in the summer! Right now I’m wearing OPI California Raspberry, but I think Whip It will make an appearance soon 🙂

Loving this theme / collection! This is a pretty pink; Need to look at it in store. Wondering how close it is to She Bop. I’m a purple girl so I picked up Maniac and Don’t Stop Believing is definitely on my list. Saw that Footloose is available on the DL site plus there’s free shipping!

Can’t go wrong with free shipping! For me, the colors are fun, but the theme & polish names totally make the collection. Very fun & perfect for summer.

What do you think?
