Despite that, when I saw Ruffles & Feathers in the Haute in the Heat display I had to grab it. It’s definitely not your typical summer manicure color but the idea of a warm weather green polish was intriguing.
Essie describes Ruffles & Feathers as a peacock teal. I wouldn’t call this polish teal. There isn’t enough blue in it. I see it more as a medium green creme with slight blue undertones. While Ruffles & Feathers isn’t a bright color it still feels very appropriate although a but unexpected for summer.
The formula is good. I used two coats in my swatches.
As always, there are swatches under the jump.
