Perfect Pair OPI Push & Shove and Zoya PixieDust Vega coverIt’s no secret that I love OPI Push & Shove (I mean…how could I not love a polish that glows in bar lighting!). But sometimes I get tired of wearing it on its own. I was having one of those days where I wanted to wear Push & Shove but I also wanted my manicure to be interesting. And I didn’t have a ton of time to sit around to do nail art!

My solution was to mix textures. I love doing this with nail polish. It’s a great way to wear the textured polish trend without going overboard.

For an accent nail I used Zoya PixieDust in Vega. Vega has a metallic(ish) sheen to it that played well off of the metallic finish of Push & Shove. I thought the two polishes looked fabulous together.

I get questions about OPI Push & Shove all the time. OPI tried to make it out like that polish was special and needs a special base coat and you can’t use a top coat with it. All of this is basically untrue. I did an extensive review on Push & Shove that should answer most questions you may have about it 🙂

As always, there are swatches under the jump!

Ughh if you keep showing Vega I’m going to eventually cave and get it! It gorgeous but since I already have two kinda similar polished (urban outfitters Sea Dust and zoya Hazel) I’m trying to resist, LOL.

What do you think?
