Y’all. Lunch at the Delhi might be an old favorite but this is one of my all time favorite polishes from OPI. I love the name. I love the color. It’s from one of my all time favorite OPI collections (the spring 2008 India collection). And I picked it up when I was visiting a friend in Baltimore so it has a nice little story behind it. Sadly, it’s not the best for my skintone but I keep using it anyway.
Lunch at the Delhi (seriously, that name!) is a yellow leaning coral creme. The color is just beautiful and perfect for the warm months of the year.
The formula is equally lovely. I used just two coats in my swatches.
Funny enough when I got this polish out to use it I couldn’t get the cap off the bottle. I had to laugh at myself because this was the polish that lead me to do my post on how to unstick a stuck polish lid. I used the hot water trick again and it got my bottle right open 🙂
Unfortunately, OPI didn’t add this to their permanent line (sad face). It is available on Amazon and eBay (though I’m not sure it’s worth those prices…). If you already have this in your collection it’s definitely worth pulling out. Right now is the perfect time of year for this lovely coral!
As always, there are swatches under the jump.
