Julep Love

Julep Love coverThis polish was a little bonus polish included in the February Julep boxes. I got the It Girl box which included Roc Solid and Glam Roc so this was a nice addition!

In the bottle (PS love the gold cap!) I loved the way this polish looked but honestly I thought it wasn’t going to work for my skintone. That’s why I put off trying it for so long! But I was getting ready to go to the Charlotte Symphony one night and I really wanted a metallic polish to wear. I was about to put on JulieG Liquid Metal when I remember I had this polish to try and as it turns out I ended up loving it!

Love is a super metallic borderline glitter rose gold base with larger red glitter. I definitely don’t have anything like this in my collection! And the formula is fantastic. I used just two coats in my swatches.

With the finish of this polish I fully expected the wear time to be terrible but it wasn’t! I wore this polish all weekend and had no major chips.

Because this was a special Valentine’s Day polish I’m not sure how difficult it will be to get a hold of. Currently, this polish is available on Amazon and eBay.

Julep polishes are available at Sephora, but the monthly subscription service is a much more affordable way to get Julep polishes. To get your first month free use the code FREEBOX! 🙂

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump! The MACRO shot really shows how awesome this polish is.

They do have this on the website under the Mothers Day Gift Set! Just an FYI for everyone who is already a Julep member 🙂 I need to have this in my life

Luv it!! I was a julep “maven” for a while, really loved the unique and gorgeous shades and the formula was pretty good too, but the bottles are smaller than they appear and contain very little polish. 🙁

A polish would have to be something really special for me to walk into Sephora and buy a Julep polish for that very reason. I do think the subscription service is a good deal money-wise, though.

Really pretty! I love the gold caps too 🙂 We need to acquire our birthstone polishes by the way.

What do you think?
