Pixi Lime Lustre

Pixi Lime Lustre coverI’ve been seriously into green polishes lately! Normally I don’t gravitate towards green polishes but with all the awesome green polishes being released for spring I can’t seem to help myself.

For Spring 2014 Pixi released 3 new polishes. Lime Lustre immediately caught my attention. In the bottle I thought I was going to like it. On the nail I loved it!

Lime Lustre is a surprisingly wearable pale green with subtle shimmer giving it a pearl finish. The color is lovely and the finish keeps the color from looking flat on the nail.

The formula was surprisingly good though I did use three coats in my swatches. I found this polish wore extremely well.

This is definitely not a color I would normally reach for but I ended up wearing it several days and never getting tired of the color (it even made an appearance on my personal Instagram….that rarely happens!). Lime Lustre is the perfect polish for spring! And a great pale green alternative if deborah lippmann Spring Buds and essie Fashion Playground just aren’t quite doing it for you.

Pixi polishes are available at Target as well as on the Pixi website (free shipping on all orders over $50 and an additional 20% off with code PIXISHARE) and Pixi is periodically on Hautelook.

As always, there are swatches under the jump!
