Revlon Parfumerie Wild Violets

Revlon Parfumerie Wild Violets coverThe nail polish takes me to Madrid. Let me explain.

One of the most common souvenirs one can obtain in Madrid are La Violeta candies. They are purple, flower shaped hard candies that taste amazing. I don’t even know how to describe the taste. But this nail polish, when dry, smells EXACTLY like the candy.

For that reason alone I adore this nail polish. But as it turns out, the color is also pretty awesome.

Wild Violets is a deep purple packed with red and blue shimmer. Sure, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before but the formula is truly fantastic. It’s highly pigmented and easy to work with. I used two coats in my swatches.

I will admit that indoor lighting isn’t the best for this polish. But it comes alive in the sun.

This is the second polish from Revlon’s Parfumerie line I have tried. The first polish I tried, Lavender Soap, didn’t wow me but Wild Violets made up for it!

The Revlon Parfumerie polish line is available at your local drugstore or online at

Very pretty, the color reminds me of Wet n Wild’s Disturbia polish.

The colors are very similar though the finishes vary slightly but not enough that anyone other than a nail polish addict would notice!

Now I want to get out Disturbia…:)

Try putting on Disturbia with Don’t You Wish by Pure Ice over it. You get the deep purple with a great blue/aqua glitter gradient on top. Discovered the combination by accident, now I’m putting Don’t You Wish over almost everything to see how it comes out.

What do you think?
