Perfect Pair: OPI Push & Shove and Maybelline Frozen Over

Perfect Pair OPI Push & Shove and Maybelline Frozen Over CoverI sure hope this is my last winter inspired manicure for a good long while because I am so over the cold weather! Despite that, I love this manicure. These two polishes look amazing together! They truly are a perfect pair.

For this manicure I used Maybelline Frozen Over and OPI Push & Shove. I thought Push & Shove would play off of the sparkle in Frozen Over. The only special (ish) thing I did for this manicure is I made the pointer finger a bit of a transition nail from Push & Shove to Frozen Over. To do this I used Frozen Over as a base and let it dry completely. Then I just used a piece of tape to block off the bottom part of the nail and used just one coat of Push & Shove. The key to this is to remove the tape immediately to create a clean line.

I love doing simple things like this. It really makes a manicure unique but takes almost no effort and zero skill!

There are swatches under the jump.

  1. LUV! This is my kind of nail art, so chic and clean rather than cluttered and craftsy. Adore pale blu and silver, and together they are great. I’d wear this every season of the year, except maybe fall. This is the first time I’ve seen a “transition nail,” love the concept.

What do you think?
