Prestige Wonder Gloss – Romance

Prestige - Romance BottlePress Sample

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful! I couldn’t ask for a more perfect March day: sunny with highs in the 70’s! I decided to embrace the (sadly) brief warm up with the bright pink deliciousness that is Prestige Wonder Gloss Romance.

I was really excited that Alli sent me this polish because Prestige is a new-to-me brand! Romance applied really nicely. I used three coats to get an nice even look. Romance dried to a beautiful shiny finish. I did add a coat of Seche Vite to speed up drying time. You know me… I will say, the only complaint I have is that the the wand/brush is a bit short – and it made application just a little awkward. It wasn’t bad, it wouldn’t keep me from buying another Wonder Gloss polish, but it was just… a little awkward.Prestige - Romance

A bit of background: The Prestige Wonder Gloss line is fairly new, released in 2013. The website says the following of the WG polishes:

  • Super Glossy with Multi Vitamins
  • Maximum Coverage and Durability
  • Resistant to Shock
  • Strengthens Nails

Please tell me I’m not the only one that is hung up on the “Shock Resistant” descriptor? While I have absolutely no idea what that means, I can say it did dry “super glossy.” I was impressed. I asked my nails if they felt stronger, but they didn’t have much to say…

I did a quick ingredients quick and the Prestige Wonder Gloss polishes are 4-free. They do contain camphor, which is absent in 5-free polishes. If you’re interested in learning a bit more, I found a great article on nail polish toxins here.

The price is a definite plus – The Wonder Gloss polishes are $3.95 on the Prestige website. Make sure to check out Alli’s review of Frost – she really liked it! More pictures below!

You make me laugh. I loved this line ” I asked my nails if they felt stronger, but they didn’t have much to say…” LOL! This is a gorgeous pink, also!

Hahaha! I’m glad. Sometimes, I get in these silly moods when I write my posts – and those usually end up being my favorite. I just couldn’t keep it together after the whole “Shock Resistant” thing…

That is a really great pink. Now to find if I can get Prestige in my area…..
Oh and by the way, the link to the Prestige website on this post is broken (for me at least!).

It’s a fun pink! I’m liking it a lot! I know they have some Prestige products at Ulta, but I’ll have to check my local one to see if they have the nail polish too.

Thanks for the heads up about the link! All fixed!
