OPI Live.Love.Carnaval

OPI Live.Love.Carnaval coverOh my gosh y’all, I love this nail polish!

My love affair with coral polishes started with butter LONDON Macbeth back in 2011. And basically I have never looked back.

Live.Love.Carnaval is part of OPI’s Spring 2014 Brazil collection. OPI describes this polish as vibrant and festive and I can’t say I disagree! Live.Love.Carnaval is a bright coral creme. It’s a pretty neutral coral though it does have the slightest yellow undertones. Despite that this is a very flattering polish.

The formula is fantastic. I used just 2 coats in my swatches.

Charlotte is in the middle of a winter snow storm. Live.Love.Carnaval definitely brought some warmth to my fingertips (and it was my way of protesting the winter weather!). I love this polish so much I wore it again and did some simple nail art with it. Seriously, I’m ready for spring!

The OPI Brazil collection is currently available in stores and online at Ulta.com.

There are tons of swatches under the jump!

  1. Coral IS a gorgeous color and I am sad that the idea of wearing the color coral on my nails was “ruined” for me due to the 70’s and 80’s when this was the IT color for the over 40 set. Now that I’m IN that set, I’m careful to avoid nail colors that look “old lady” to me, so I don’t do coral or mauve, LOL. But to all you young girls out there, I’m sure this color looks perfectly modern! Lucky you!

    1. I totally feel you.

I was wearing a polish the other day and my thought process was something like “I bet this would be a super popular polish in a nail salon in Boca.” lol

  2. I’ve been looking for a good coral nail polish. I’m usually an essie girl, but OPI has great colors. I’ll have to go pick this up soon!
