Nail Art: Valentine’s Day Manicures 2014

Valentine's Day Nail Art 2014I admit it. I’m one of those weird people who likes Valentine’s Day. I don’t know why, but I’ve always liked Valentine’s Day. I mean, really. What’s so bad about a holiday that involves chocolate, flowers and hearts?

This week I’ve worn a couple of Valentine’s Day themed manicures that I go into detail about under the jump.

Heart Nail Art Sephora by OPI Heart Nail Art JulieG

I quite like this manicure. And it was so easy to achieve! I started with a base of Sephora by OPI High Maintenance on all of my nails. I let that dry completely then on just my ring finger nails I used JulieG Liquid Metal and a small detail nail art brush. I drew the heart then filled in the rest of the nail with Liquid Metal.

This is a bit of a more subtle take on a Valentine’s Day manicure. I did a waterfall manicure with Valentine’s Day appropriate colors.

I started with a base of JulieG Fred. Then , using a medium length nail art brush, I added JulieG Sunset Kiss, Ulta Snow White and JulieG Liquid Metal. The end result was subtle but quite pretty.

  1. The waterfall is my favourite, but until I read ‘waterfall’ I was thinking sizzling coals! That must make you hot stuff! 🙂
