China Glaze Midnight Mission CoverSometimes I find the most beautiful polishes shopping my stash!

Midnight Mission is from way back in 2010. This is the only polish I have from the Vintage Vixen collection. While I wasn’t overly impressed with the selection from that collection, I absolutely adore Midnight Mission. It’s nothing short of stunning.

Midnight Mission is a deep not quite metallic blue with silver sparkle. The sparkle reminds me of stars in the night sky.

The formula is ok. I needed three coats to cover some bald spots left after 2 coats. But the formula is not difficult to work with.

The only negative about this polish is I find it doesn’t wear all that well. I think it’s the nature of the finish. Tip wear happens incredibly fast regardless of top coat (I used China Glaze No Chip). I posted this picture on TDV Instagram less than 24 hours after application.

Despite the wear issues, I truly adore this polish and I’m happy to have it in my collection. Sadly, China Glaze did not add it to their permanent line but it is available on Amazon (thank goodness for Amazon, right?).

There are swatches under the jump that TRUST ME you’re going to want to see.

I have Swing Baby from this collection, and I agree, it does not wear well. I think I got max 2 days from this polish (don’t remember, I haven’t worn it in ages). But it’s really beautiful.

What do you think?
