OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby.

OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby. coverBack when Gwen Stefani’s debut album Love Angel Music Baby came out it was seriously my jam. I was in college and I would listen to it non stop walking to class. Even to this day Crash is one of my favorite songs to blast in the car with the top down.

Clearly no Gwen Stefani nail polish collection would be complete without a polish named Love Angel Music Baby.

Love.Angel.Music.Baby. is a soft yellow shimmery gold with a satin finish. This polish is very similar to Layla Softouch Effect in Golden Touch and unfortunately is not the best gold tone for my particular skintone. But it is a lovely color and I adore the finish. It can pass as a neutral but isn’t your boring nude or pale pink.

The formula is fabulous. I used just two coats in my swatches. And of course since Love.Angel.Music.Baby. is a satin finish it dries very quickly. A great polish if you’re in a hurry!

I’ve really been enjoying the Gwen Stefani OPI collection. I really love Push and Shove as well as 4 In The Morning and even though Love.Angel.Music.Baby. isn’t the best for my skintone I quite like it.

The Gwen Stefani collection is currently available at Ulta and other OPI retailers. Love.Angel.Music.Baby. is part of the mini set for this collection.

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump. The MACRO shots are amazing!

  1. Reminds me of Lippmanns “Believe”. My skin tone is warm, so golds do look good on me, but this silvery gold shade is always unflattering on me, in fact I can for some reason wear straight silver just fine but this champagne color looks off on me, or maybe it’s just an odd color.

      1. That’s possible. I fell in love with Essie Beyond Cozy the minute I saw it, snatched it… but never could wear it – it looks bizarre against my skin. I might wear it only on the tips, as I do with OPI My Favorite Ornament… 🙁
