2013 Round Up and Top Posts

2013 Round UpHappy New Year!

Welcome to 2014! Every New Year since long before I was born my family has a traditional, Southern meal on New Year’s Day. This includes essentials such as ham, collards, black eyed peas and of course, corn bread.

But before we move on to the new year, I wanted to wrap up 2013. It was an amazing year here at The Daily Varnish. The nail polish Katie created with Lex Cosmetics, Atlantic, was featured in People Style Watch Magazine. How amazing is that!

I partnered with hitched.ca to come up with wedding manicures and Pickie to share my spring nail polish picks.

Various manicures were featured around the web including on glo.com, BuzzFeed, Lucky Magazine, GrindTV and L’Oreal’s Facebook page.

Despite everything that was going on outside of The Daily Varnish our main focus has always been this website. We changed web hosts to hopefully improve the experience here at The Daily Varnish. It was a bumpy transition but worth it in the end.

There are already a couple things brewing for 2014 that I can’t wait to share! Thanks for coming along for the ride.
