China Glaze – Harvest Moon

China Glaze - Harvest Moon How is it December already? I can’t believe it! It’s taken me this long to fully accept that it’s Fall – it gets harder as it gets colder and the leaves go from beautiful to brown. At any rate, I have rediscovered my favorite Fall in a bottle polish: Harvest Moon just in time for the release of Catching Fire. I saw it opening night and it was fantastic!

Originally released in 2012 as part of the (controversial) Capitol Colours collection, Harvest Moon represents District 9 (Grain). I prefer its pre-law suit name: Cinna-mon which was inspired by Cinna’s gold eyeliner. Who would’ve thought Lenny Kravitz could pull off gold eyeliner so well?

Harvest Moon is a beautiful sparkling copper metallic. It really comes into it’s own in the sun – SO much shimmer, sparkle, & shine. This is one of those polishes thatย  you just can stare at all day – it’s so pretty. I think it’d be great for an afternoon of apple picking or holding a warm mug of hot tea. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. It gets better:ย  application was great. I used 3 coats + essie’s Good to Go to top it off.

Sadly, this polish is kind of hard to come by these days. You can find the entire Capitol Colours collection on Cherry Couture for 3.99.

  1. I have bad news for you, Katie, winter is to arrive in three weeks… ! ๐Ÿ˜‰
But you remind me that I must take my China Glaze Swing Baby for a spin… ๐Ÿ™‚ Harvest Moon is too orange for my tastes.

    1. Nooooo. I can’t handle winter yet. It’s my least favorite by far. It’s taken me this long to really accept Fall ๐Ÿ™ Swing Baby is a pretty one!

What do you think?
