Polish & Co Code 9

Polish & Co Code 9 bottleI’m quickly turning into a serious Polish & Co fan girl. Seriously.

After my first experience with Mint To Tell U I was pretty excited about the brand. Mint To Tell U is a gorgeous color and a one coater (HELLO!). But, there’s always a possibility I just hit the jackpot with my first polish and other polishes from the brand wouldn’t be as good. Wrong!

Code 9 is a deep blue leaning purple creme. The color is gorgeous. It’s dark but it never looks black. It reminds me an awful lot of China Glaze Queen B though Queen B is the slightest bit darker.

The formula is fantastic. FANTASTIC. I would keep saying fantastic over and over again but I think you get the idea!

This is a polish that could easily be a one coater yet it isn’t thick or difficult to work with. I’m so impressed because this is the second polish I’ve tried from Polish & Co and both have fabulous formulas.

For good measure I did use two coats in my swatches. And eventually I even added a little glitter…

A side note about the name….it made me laugh. I remember using Code 9 when furiously im’ing my friends on AIM in middle and high school. Those were the days!

Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Polish & Co. For more info on Polish & Co check out my post on Mint To Tell U or the Polish & Co website.

I picked this polish up during a Polish & Co HauteLook event for $6. The regular price (if purchasing from the Polish & Co website) is $12 a bottle. I wouldn’t hesitate to pay full price though I do hope there is another HauteLook event!

    1. True. Though, I’ve used expensive polish that I was less than impressed with. But my experience with Polish & Co is they are worth the $12 price tag.
