Confession: I guess because my first few experiences with Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure line weren’t the best, I haven’t really paid all that much attention to them over the past few years. Sure I’ve picked up a few here and there, but they have never been my go-to drugstore line of choice. But, a few weeks ago Walgreens had a 2 for $10 deal with $1 off coupons, I ended up going home with two (for $8!) –from the Limited Edition Rent the Runway Display – Loden Green and Perfectly Poppy.
I was curious about the name… so after some light research (thanks, Google!) it turns out that Loden Green refers to a thick, heavily fulled, waterproof fabric, used in coats and jackets for cold climates – which is….green! Loden Green is absolutely perfect fall polish! It’s an olive green creme with yellow undertones. It’d make a great on-trend addition to your collection this fall!
The application was so wonderful – I used two coats with absolutely no issues. I’m a fan. The Complete Salon Manicure is definitely back on my radar. Well done, Sally Hansen.
