Review: 15 Piece eBay Nail Art Brush Set

Nail Art BrushesBack in May I went on a tad bit of an eBay binge. I ended up ordering a 15 piece nail art brush set for under $5 (including shipping). When I ordered the set I didn’t expect much, but I have been pleasantly surprised!

The set includes 2 fan brushes, 1 small dotting tool, 3 striping brushes, 1 angled brush, 2 flat brushes and 6 other small brushes for detail work.

Over the past several months I have used almost all of these brushes. The quality is excellent. I use the angled brush most frequently and it has survived many cleanings without ever losing a bristle.

I definitely recommend these brushes. The price is crazy and they are good quality. The set includes every brush needed to do most nail art.

I ordered a set in pink but they also have white. I just liked the pink because it matches the container I keep the brushes in!

If you’re curious about some of the nail art I’ve done using these brushes check out my Memorial Day Acid Wash mani, Watercolors nail art, DIY nail decals or Peach manicure.

This particular nail art brush set seems to continually be on eBay. I did the buy it now thing (bidding seriously stresses me out!). The pink nail set can be found here, the white set can be found here.

Have you used the fan brush for anything? I’m having a hard time envisioning the purpose of that one.

Yes, I used it to do my watercolor manicure. I have a few more ideas on what to do with the fan brushes as well I just haven’t gotten around to it yet!

I ordered the white set about a year ago (from a UK seller but it’s the identical set). The brushes themselves are fantastic but, just a warning, keep the handles away from acetone as the white paint literally melted off and went all over everything!

Good to know! I use thinner to clean my brushes so I haven’t had any acetone near them.

I have this set too and like Natasha I found the paint melts off if it comes into contact with acetone, leaving my fingertips (and some of my hard worked on manicure) ruined with pink staining 🙁 Apart from that the brushes are fab. Would be better if they were just wooden though x
