Essie – For the Twill of It

Essie - For the Twill of ItFor the first time in a long time, I’m really impressed with several of the new fall collections and Essie’s For The Twill Of It is no exception – in large part to it’s namesake polish! If you read my post on OPI’s I Knead Sour-Dough, you know I was very tempted to pick up Peace & Love & OPI. I ultimately passed and decided to wait for Essie’s For the Twill of It. Dupe Alert!

Essie describes this polish as a “rich maple with reflective olive shimmer.” Hmm. Maple? I don’t know… It’s a metallic steel grey duochrome that flashes purple and green – gorgeous!Much like it’s OPI dupe, the formula is great. I used two coats – but I could easily get away with just one – and you all know how I adore one coaters!

    1. Agreed. I have Grey’s Anatomy – I like it well enough and the look is similar but the application makes all the difference in the world – This was an amazing one-two coater 🙂 If not for the name, I’d probably give away GA now – still might… Hmmm.

What do you think?
