For Spring/Summer 2013 L’Oreal released a six polish Trend Setter collection. I spotted the display for the collection ages ago at CVS but decided to pass at the time. And then recently I was browsing drugstore.com (that website is seriously addictive) and ran across the collection. I didn’t pay all that much attention to the names of the polishes when I saw them in stores. How could I pass on a polish called Orange You Jealous? Between the name and my sort of under control obsession with orange nail polish I had to have it.
Orange You Jealous? is an orange leaning, bright coral creme. This color is right up my alley. And, since it has just a tad bit of pink in it, the color looks great even on those of us without a tan!
The formula was good though a tad bit thin. I used 3 coats in my swatches.
I’ve grown quite fond of this polish. It’s a great pedicure color for these last few weeks of summer. I also used this polish in my peach nail art. If you missed that post, you can check it out here.
This isn’t a particularly unique polish. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Coral Fever is a very close dupe though hard to find since it’s from a 2011 collection. But if you already have that polish, no need to go looking for Orange You Jealous?.
