Recently, I’ve been having a nail polish love affair with Maybelline Blue Blaze. This had led to me coming up with different ways to incorporate it into any given manicure. I figured out pretty quickly that Essie No Place Like Chrome was the perfect companion for Blue Blaze. No Place Like Home really brings out the silver in Blue Blaze.
At first I was just using No Place Like Chrome for an accent nail. But then I thought it might look good if I sponged it over Blue Blaze to create a gradient ala my DIY baroque manicure or like I did with Essie Sunday Funday and Cover Girl Perfect Penny. The difference with this manicure is both of the polishes are metallic.
The result was quite gorgeous. And perfect for a Friday night!
If you’re having a hard time finding the Maybelline (not) Holographic collection no worries! It’s available online at drugstore.com and Maybelline will soon be adding Blue Blaze to the permanent line.
Below the jumps are both manicures I’ve done with Blue Blaze and No Place Like Chrome.
