China Glaze Heli-Yum

China Glaze Heli-Yum bottleSomething about the end of July always makes me want to wear this polish. I don’t know what it is!

Funny enough, Heli-Yum is actually from a spring collection. The China Glaze Spring 2010 Up&Away collection was extremely popular but Heli-Yum never got much love. Years later, turns out this is my most used polish from that collection (no offense to Grape Pop which I also love!). Go figure, right?

Heli-Yum is a bright raspberry creme. So gorgeous! It’s not that the color is ground breaking or new and exciting, it’s just a classically gorgeous nail polish color.

The formula is a bit on the thick side, but even 3 years later, not hard to work with. I used two coats in all my swatches.

My favorite colors to pair Heli-Yum with are white and gold which is probably why I tend to reach for this polish so often in the warmer months. It’s nice to bring some color to an otherwise neutral color palette.

There are swatches below the jump!

Unfortunately, this polish has become hard to find. It is available on Amazon and eBay (for quite the bargain price).
