My experience with Jessica as a brand is more or less non-existent. I have a bottle of red polish from Jessica called Merlot. I have no idea where it came from but it’s a pretty stellar polish. When I saw Jessica was jumping on the textured polish bandwagon with their The Touch collection I was intrigued. They looked to be similar to the JulieG Frosted Gum Drops which I love but the only purple in the JulieG line is Crushed Candy and it didn’t work particularly well with my skintone. When Jessica had a purple textured polish in the collection I had to try it!
I was really excited when this polish arrived in the mail. It looked gorgeous in the bottle!
Give Me Goosebumps is a medium purple with slightly lighter purple glitter. It’s a less blue version of OPI Can’t Let Go. I really love the color.
The formula is on par with other textured polishes. I used 2 coats in my swatches and it dries quickly and wears well.
I wanted to do a similar manicure to the one I did with JulieG Blueberry Fizz and use Essie No Place Like Chrome as an accent nail in an attempt to bring out the glitter. I couldn’t find my bottle of No Place Like Chrome (my cat stole it…really) so instead I used wet n wild Fergie nail color Going Platinum. The combination turned out to be quite lovely. There are swatches of that manicure along with additional swatches of Give Me Goosebumps below the jump!
