Holiday Sparkle: JulieG Sunset Kiss & OPI Spark de Triomphe

It’s after Thanksgiving so we can start thinking about holiday manicures, right?

If I’m being honest this is a manicure I did several weeks ago for a night at the symphony. I was wearing a black dress wanted to add some color to my look with my manicure. I was already wearing JulieG Sunset Kiss so I decided to just add an accent nail. I used Essie No Place Like Chrome and then topped it with OPI Spark de Triomphe.

As soon as I finished doing this manicure I realized it screamed holiday season. It’s just so festive and fun! And not complicated or overdone. I just love it 🙂

  1. I have a weak spot for these kind of glowing reds…and I love how you used OPI Spark de Triomphe over the Essie silver metallic – it would hide the brush strokes in that Essie and also Spark has been a big fav of mine since it came out in 2011…the pepper in it just catches my eye. I have to try it over a silver foil/metallic. I think it really gives a this year texture feel to the silver without it getting all gritty on me! And as for rocking holiday shades – yes…I always need to jump into some of the ones not screaming Santa and Elves right after turkey day or i won’t get time to wear all my favs before season is done. That said..one of the nice things about the reds is most of my holiday fav reds are perfect to wear pretty much any time of the year. My all time fav holiday red probably is OPI’s Dear Santa.

What do you think?
