The weather is getting cooler which means it’s that part of the Summer where I make a serious effort to wear polishes that just won’t work come September (am I the only one that does that!?). I’m not necessarily one for polish rules, but neon in September? I’m not so sure about that.
My obsession this Summer of mixing neons with animal print has been very, very, very well documented on this blog. So it will come as no shock that I did this manicure to go with a leopard print dress.
You Go Girl! is a super bright pink cream that has purple undertones. There isn’t enough purple in this polish to call in fuchsia but it’s leaning in that direction. The color is really quite lovely and very saturated.
This polish is a neon so it dries to a matte finish. The formula is a bit thin; I used three coats in my swatches.
You Go Girl! is the first polish I’ve tries from the petites polish line and I was rather impressed. The price point is good ($3) and there are over 50 shades in the line. I’m also a fan of the bottle. I like that is says the name of the polish on the front (as well as the back).
The only place I know this line is available is at Rite Aid, though it is also sold on the CQ cosmetics website.
There are more swatches below the jump!
