wet n wild megalast I Need a Refresh-Mint

About 2 weeks ago I spotted the new wet n wild megalast polish display and was somewhat underwhelmed by the color selection. I actually passed by the display several times before finally breaking down and picking up I Need a Refresh-Mint (how cute is that name!?). First of all, how cute is that name! And secondly, it was only $1.99.

I Need a Refresh-Mint is a minty green creme. It is quite similar to Orly Ancient Jade and Essie Turquoise & Caicos. The formula is fabulous. With this line wet n wild introduced a new what they call “mani curve” brush. It’s wide and curved at the top. Overall it’s a pretty good brush (especially for such an inexpensive polish) but it is a bit too thick for my taste (there are pictures of the brush below the jump).

Another thing I like about this line is the bottle. It’s pretty yet simple and different from any other bottles I have in my collection.

This line is called megalast and wet n wild claims it wears for 5 days. Generally I don’t pay attention to these claims as no polish really wears that well on me. So I was quite surprised and pleased by the wear from this polish. I am on day 4 and still wearing it! That rarely happens. I have some tip wear but no chips. I am impressed!

Recently wet n wild also came out with another line of polishes called Spoiled. I also had great luck with that line. I am quite impressed with wet n wild as of late!

Lots of pictures below the jump 🙂
