China Glaze Skyscraper

If not for Orly Fowl Play, this would be my favorite Fall 2011 polish release. Even though Skyscraper has to take second place, this is still a gorgeous polish! I spotted the China Glaze Metro Collection display and Skyscraper immediately caught my eye.

Skyscraper is a violet polish packed with silver glitter. It is so gorgeous and sparkly! I couldn’t stop looking at nails the entire time I was wearing this.

Application was surprisingly good. Despite being loaded with glitter, the formula wasn’t thick or clumpy. This applied easily in two coats though it is a little bumpy on the nail therefore a thick coat of top coat is definitely required.

  1. This also was my first pick from the Metro collection. I am really happy with how the polish lays down on the nail – not thin – not to crunchy/hunky either. I am so into denim shades for polish and they have been hard to find. I am thrilled that this was a true washed denim shade. The real winner for the entire Metro collection in my book too. I also really love Fowl Play from Orly – though it’s not that dupe everyone was saying it was for Merry Midnight – FP is much darker base and a tish less red glitz in it. It will help me stretch my MM which I hate to wear as I am afraid I will run out.
