OPI You’re a Pisa Work

Oh Italy. I do love you! You’re a Pisa Work is originally from OPI’s Spring 2001 Italian collection but luckily for me it has made its way into OPI’s permanent line. I got this polish ages ago in a Pretty Little Pinks mini set from Ulta. Also included in the set were I’m Indi-a Mood for Love and Princesses Rule!.

You’re a Pisa Work (love the name) is a red leaning pink creme with a slight blue undertone. It’s a very flattering color on me. I cannot believe I waited so long to try out this polish!

Even with a mini bottle, application was a breeze. This is one of those almost one coater nail polishes, though I did use two.

I just love discovering “new” polishes that I already own 🙂

  1. I just bought this polish after seeing it on a blog. I was around and collecting when it came out – but as I recall in 2001, I was in major hard straights $ wise. I either bought nothing in an OPI collection or limited myself to only 1 and that 1 had to be something like nothing I had or something I HAD to have bad!!!! But I like this – then there is rarely any reds in my stash that I don’t love. My first fav hue is fuchsia and anything close like magentas. But when you line up all up in my database sorting by color, I have far more reds than any other shade.

What do you think?
